Many Android applications spy on their users, tracking as much as they can and sending data to advertising companies and data brokers without any authorization. NetGuard is an Android application that provides simple and advanced ways to monitor and block internet access by other applications.
In this workshop, participants will learn how NetGuard works and how to use it to observe how much tracking is going on and block most of it. We will also discuss additional tools that can help protecting user's privacy such as F-Droid, Exodus Privacy and Aurora Store.
